S.C. Vistula Senior Team Tryouts

S.C. Vistula is recruiting players for the senior team for the 2024/2025 season. Vistula coaches invite all those who want to strengthen the team in the upcoming season. Tryouts information below. Below is some information from the playing team manager Chris Kondratowicz.

My name is Chris Kondratowicz, and I have been playing and coaching at SC Vistula for my entire life. I currently serve as the manager of the club's senior team at the club. We just finished our first season in the Metropolitan division of the Eastern Premier Soccer League(EPSL) where we managed to stay up despite a tough season full of injuries. EPSL is a very competitive regional league with teams that have players with appearances in many professional leagues including the Premier League. We also play in tournaments such as the US Open Cup and the US Amateur Cup, making deep runs in the past few years. We have also reached the New Jersey State Cup Final which will be played at 7pm on Sunday, June 9th in at Eddie Moreas Stadium in Newark NJ, where we aim to win the club's second men's open state title(First since 1970).

We are looking to strengthen our squad for next season, and we will host a tryout at 6:00 pm on June 16, 2024 at 20th Century Field. I made my first appearance for the senior team at 14 years old and our mantra has always been "if you're good enough, you're old enough"

Nazywam się Krzyś Kondratowicz i przez całe życie gram i trenuję w SC Vistula. Obecnie pełnię funkcję menadżera klubu seniorów w klubie. Właśnie zakończyliśmy nasz pierwszy sezon w dywizji metropolitalnej Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL), gdzie udało nam się utrzymać pozycję pomimo ciężkiego sezonu pełnego kontuzji. EPSL to bardzo konkurencyjna liga regionalna, w której skład wchodzą gracze występujący w wielu ligach zawodowych, w tym w Premier League. Gramy także w turniejach takich jak US Open Cup i US Amateur Cup, zajmując w ciągu ostatnich kilku lat duże sukcesy. Dotarliśmy także do finału Pucharu Stanu New Jersey, który odbędzie się w niedzielę, 9 czerwca o godzinie 19:00 na stadionie Eddie Moreas w Newark w stanie New Jersey, gdzie naszym celem jest zdobycie drugiego tytułu klubu w zawodach open mężczyzn (pierwszy od 1970 roku).

Chcemy wzmocnić nasz skład na przyszły sezon i 16 czerwca 2024 r. o godzinie 18:00 na stadionie 20th Century Field zorganizujemy Nabór nowych zawodników. Po raz pierwszy wystąpiłem w drużynie seniorów w wieku 14 lat i zawsze powtarzaliśmy: „jeśli jesteś wystarczająco dobry, jesteś wystarczająco dorosły”.
